The project

Gölbaşı İncek Spor Kulübü (GİS Akademi) is a sports academy in İncek, Ankara, training children aged 4-18 in football, volleyball, gymnastics, karate and basketball. At Worgoo we built a custom-designed, mobile-first corporate site on WordPress that reflects the academy's six disciplines, its UEFA-licensed coaching staff, and the reassuring promise it makes to parents. The site is engineered to move parents into a WhatsApp enrollment conversation in a single tap.

Challenge

A sports academy's real customer is not the athlete but the parent entrusting their child, so the biggest hurdle is the trust threshold. GİS Akademi had genuine differentiators - six disciplines, a wide age range, and a dedicated karate program for hearing-impaired athletes - but no digital storefront to turn them into a clear, trust-building flow that ends in enrollment.

Result

GİS Akademi now has a professional digital storefront that clearly tells the story of its six disciplines, its staff and its values - earning a parent's trust and routing them to an enrollment conversation in one tap. Mobile-first, fast and discoverable in search, the site strengthens the academy's positioning in the İncek area of Ankara and gives it a sustainable channel for new athlete sign-ups.

What we did

    Discipline-led information architecture

    We structured each of the six disciplines with its own card and page, so a parent reaches the football, volleyball, gymnastics, karate or basketball program in one click based on their child's age and interest. We also surfaced the dedicated karate program for hearing-impaired athletes as a visible differentiator.

    A trust-driven brand narrative

    We arranged the 'ZİRVEYE GİDEN YOL' (Road to the Summit) slogan, founder Yavuz Aksoy's 'your children are in our care' message, the UEFA-licensed coaching staff, and 20-plus local sponsors into a flow that answers a parent's hesitations. The visual language is clean, white-grounded and card-based.

    Frictionless enrollment via WhatsApp

    Instead of filling in forms, parents reach the academy's line directly through persistent 'Join Now' and WhatsApp buttons on every page. We positioned this single-tap mobile flow as the site's primary conversion goal.
