The project

Menteşoğlu Kağıtçılık is a long-established family business that, with over three generations of experience since 1944, produces kraft pouches, food-grade packaging paper and custom logo-printed solutions. For this brand serving restaurants, cafes, e-commerce sellers and gift shops, we built a WooCommerce store that handles both wholesale and retail orders under one roof, built around quantity-based pricing.

Challenge

In the packaging sector, an order could range from a single pack of kraft pouches for a cafe to a thousands-of-units wholesale purchase by an e-commerce seller. Managing this dual model (retail and wholesale), the size/color variations, and the tiered pricing that drops as quantity rises through printed catalogs and phone calls was slow and error-prone; there was no online storefront.

Result

Menteşoğlu now offers its 80-plus years of packaging expertise through a store that's open 24/7 and speaks to both wholesale and retail. Cafes and restaurants can buy a single pack while e-commerce sellers place bulk orders at tiered prices; a process once run on catalogs and phone calls became a self-serve digital storefront.

Approach

What we did

    Variation-based products and tiered pricing architecture

    We split the kraft pouches into variable products by size (XS-L) and color (natural, black, white, navy, green), and defined quantity-based price tiers that drop as volume increases, so wholesale and retail buyers see the correct price on the same page.

    A storefront designed around the kraft aesthetic

    We built a clean, legible storefront in earthy tones, beige and brown that mirror the brand's paper texture. Category and subcategory menus were organized around real use cases such as food packaging, gift wrapping and accessories.

    Custom logo-printing requests and a secure checkout flow

    We set up a request flow for logo-printed orders that come with free design support, and integrated an SSL-protected, card-based secure cart and checkout. Order tracking and accounts speed up the workflow for repeat B2B buyers.
